Rented the manual Honda S660. The reservation procedure was very simple and the owner of the rental shop was very friendly. Even gave some good suggestions on what places to visit. There was a small hiccup with beginning the rent but the shop owner was very accommodating and allowed me to bring in the car an hour later.Kyoto really is really a great place for renting these kinds of cars, there isn't so much traffic in Kyoto and the scenic mountain roads are not too far from the city.
京都観光の際、気軽に回れるオープンカーレンタルを探していたので利用しました。今回借りたS660、その他コペンなどのオープンカー、電動キックボード付きのカスタム軽トラックなど面白い車がたくさんありました。日本でしか販売していない車にこだわっていると聞きました。気さくなスタッフで心のこもった丁寧な対応、京都観光の際はまた利用しようと思います。QRコードで地元民おすすめのガイドブックにない観光ポイントの入った地図をもらえますので大変役立ちました。京都のローカルおすすめポイントをたくさん知ることができ大変満足です。次回は琵琶湖一周にチャレンジしてみようと思います。大変いい思い出になりました。ありがとうございました。

Had a great experience renting a car for a few days here for a great value
We had a great time in cars, as we were 3 and rented 2 cars. We drove to lake biwa and tried the local rest stop restaurant. The staff was great at helping us out, and even drove us to kyoto Station afterwards.
京都を回るときに大きな車だと小回りきかないので、軽だとすごく助かる。日本でしか乗れない軽で、しかもコンバーチブルだから時期的にちょっと寒かったけど夏は絶対最高だと思う！今回旅行が3泊4日だったのでそのまま3泊4日レンタル、ショップの方も丁寧で気持ちよく過ごせたのはポイント高め✨乗ったのはホンダのs660、軽とは思えないキビキビした走りで驚き。京都来たらJDMさんまたよろしくお願いします^^

Good rental prices and the process was smooth except from returning the car. Took a while to get a hold of the guy we are in contact with. But still great experience! Will be back renting again next year!
