Everything was laid out in a way that was easy to understand, you need cash to pay but i recommend! Ive tried their recommended hojicha and it was good!

Oh my god come to this store if you want to buy fair priced matcha (Marakuyu Koyaman) and support a local business. I nearly teared up reading the sign. The best selection and closest to base price I’ve seen. Definitely put in a few hundred more yen in the box than requested but it’s a must stop.For context, came straight from Uji for the day and this was the best tea shop I went to.
このお茶屋さんは素晴らしい！専門店で、種類も多く、上質なお茶をたくさん扱っている。そしてそれぞれが品質の割にとても安い。出町近くに来ると、いつも足を伸ばして、ここでお茶をまとめ買いして帰ることにしている。わざわざ来る値打ちのあるお茶専門店だと思う。店主さんは95歳を超えているらしいですが、ずっとここでお茶を買いたいので応援しています❣️
良いお茶を安〜く売っているお茶専門店。自分で書く領収書も置いてある。 お茶専門店だけあって、番茶やほうじ茶から高級煎茶や抹茶まで揃っている。それぞれ質が良く、少しでよく出て香り高くおいしいので結局安い！800円で買った高級煎茶が、何百回も飲んでもまだなくならない。物の割に安いのに驚き感動する。さすがお茶専門店！このお店を知ってしまうと、スーパーではもう買えない。 無人販売なのでお金を崩していきましょう！

I first came across this store on the last day of my previous trip to Kyoto. I didn’t have any cash with me at the time, so I couldn’t buy anything, but I promised myself I’d come back on my next trip, and I did. The owner was there, and I managed to buy some tea just five minutes before closing. I’m still learning Japanese, so I wasn’t able to have a full conversation with him, but he was very kind and welcoming. He even gave me a guidebook, which I believe he wrote himself, based on what I understood from what he said (though I could be mistaken). I would definitely come back again to visit and buy tea.
