We stayed at a double bed bunk and had a clean comfortable mattress and pillow also nice common space that enough for usWhen we arrived at the guesthouse, there’s a birthday party for one of the guests which made us think they have a welcoming and friendly guests and staff here.There’s a recommended Japanese Izakaya “Kai Jin” near by and they have a very delicious authentic Japanese food and the environment there was amazing. If you wanna try Japanese cuisine I highly recommend it.Kameari station area is quiet but there are so many restaurants,shops and public baths around. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Tokyo
Exceptional clean lounge/dorm/bath rooms, with spacious bunk and very cozy vibe. The host Makoto san and employees are friendly and welcoming.Kameari area is bit far away from the center of Tokyo (but not that hard to get to from both airports) but there are nice affordable restaurants and malls that’s within 10 minutes walk.
Ok. It's not a bad place to stay but it has some deficiencies. If you're going to stay here, you should read.1) The first day that I arrive, the Owner and the girl who is helping him as a translator were rude. They don't have any kind of amability as hostess.2) If you don't arrive at the check in hours, they will leave outside and cancel your reservation. Practically you only have 5 hours to do your check in.3) The Shower is not available during the midday and part of the afternoon.4) Joban Line always will be overcrowded and it's 15 minutes from the guesthouse.The positive parts are, The Guesthouse always be clean and the neighborhood is so nice and quiet. You always will have stores around.I stayed here because it was my last place that I had available on that moment. Definitely, I will not repeat.
I don't usually write a review, but I feel like I have to write a warning here. First of all: the hostel is actually very nice, quiet and social. The staff are very nice. I was in this hostel for 1 week and actually had a good time BUT I noticed every day how the owner of the hostel made inappropriate, perverse and sexist comments to the female guests and staff. I didn't feel safe in his presence. I also talked to other guests and they told me something similar. As a woman, I would not stay here again.

It’s a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in local culture and experience Japan in a genuine way. I would definitely come back!
英語の夢を見るほど海外の皆様と素晴らしい時間を過ごしました！オーナーが素晴らしい＼(^o^)／オーナー行きつけの居酒屋の大将がこれまた最高すぎます！生粋の江戸っ子で粋な計らいをたくさんしていただきました。めちゃくちゃカッコイイTHE江戸っ子です＼(^o^)／ちょっと暑すぎるので北海道民には夏はキツいかも。冬にいつかまた来ます。

Amazing staff! Kamilla and Anna are legends who make this hostel feel like a home.Highly recommend for solo travellers. The layout of the area means that you will easily be able to socialise with other guests.Furthermore, the staff speak great English and live on site so if you are looking advice on places to go or funs things to do they offer great assistance.This hostel is one of the most social places I have been to. I was nervous about solo travelling and am extremely happy with my experience.Cannot recommend this place enough for solo travellers.
