I went to Barber Hashimoto today and was delighted. Apart from the excellent shave I got, I would also like to mention how likeable the owner is. When I'm in Beppu again, I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Excellent barber service. I had a scissor hair cut and wash, and also a hot towel shave. Unfortunately I don’t speak Japanese but the barber was able to use translation tools to overcome the language barrier. He was friendly and welcoming and even chatty throughout.The hair cut was completed very well, satisfying my specific requirements using only scissors and no electric shavers.The shave was outstanding. He used hot towels repeatedly to completed several rounds of blade shaving carefully and gently and precisely. My skin usually cuts easily but not this time.He even shaved my forehead, ears and eyebrows, and plucked ear and nose hairs. A very polished result.He uses an electric back massage tool to top off a truly relaxing experience.Affordable pricing too.
