金平庵の特徴
80歳の伯伯が提供する無料宿泊のサービスがある。
野宿遍路の方にとっては貴重な休憩所だ。

2025.4.25現在の管理人さんの母が整備していたそうですが、管理人さんの母が亡くなってから取り壊そうか悩んでいたそうです。思い出が多いと言うことで、取り壊さないことに決定したそうです。現在は管理人さんが、建物の修繕なども適宜行って綺麗に管理してくださっています。別棟に風呂もあります。電源もガスも冷蔵庫も使えます。スマホの電源がピンチだったため、充電させていただきました。ありがとうございました。

最近は宿泊利用者も少ないようですが、キレイに保たれています。管理している方に感謝感謝。
Thank you very much!The owner, Grandpa, is extremely kind, offering a free place (with a shower, toilet & use of his kitchen ) He even asked me if I had any food to eat (as there are no shops nearby). It's a shame I can't speak Japanese and can't communicate well with him, but I wish him all the best in good health.Important - make sure to stock up on some food when you go to Temple 38... NO shops at all on the way!

highly recommend to all my pilgrims, you can camp here for free, and if you need to use bathroom, shower or need a hot water for your cupnoodle, everything is provided, including the best host ever, thank you so so so so much. (also you might find a friend in the shower 🕷️his name is greg, but he is harmless, but quite big :0)
