Amazing Stand Up Paddle experience with Masami. Great vibes.His relaxed approached gave us full confidence for us beginners to make it to Miyajima and back, passing twice beneath the Tori ! We stopped by the beach for a drink by the pine trees and a nice chat before heading back.Quick dip in the sea before a coffee and shake back at his shop !I can only highly recommend to experience Miyajima this way. Masami has the best energy ❤️
I was Sponsored after a Skateboard competition as a Kid, when my parents were stationed on Iwakuni. I just remember the owner being so nice while asking my parents to sponsor me. Hope all is well and more blessings to his family.
LazyBones is the best shop close to Iwakuni base so all Marines and military if you want great knowledge and service and products I recommend it highly. When I was there in Japan from 1998 till 2002 I would skate with a friend who lived up the mountain there from LazyBones and also the owner and some of my friends made a mini half pipe for his club outside of 3 corners of Iwakuni base and we used to tear it up on that ramp it was so much fun and miss it dearly I am planning to go back to Japan to visit and also tattoo so I am going to be stopping in there while visiting .
阿品から、出発して対岸の宮島へ、桟橋をくぐりながら、鳥居まで。サップ初めての初心者にとっては、とても長く感じ、大丈夫なのかと思いましたが、なんとか無事往復できました。波も穏やかな日で、真夏より少し暑さも和らいでいて、快適でした。お話も楽しく、親切にエスコートして頂けます。
ずーっと気になっていたお店でした。サーファーさんのお店だったんですね！！

Awesome Stand up Paddling Experience in HiroshimaFirst of all: Great unique, unforgettable SUP experience and very nice and kind guide.Beginnerfriendly. Absolute Recommendation!Today me and my girlfriend did an awesome stand up paddling trip to the Itsukushima shrine near Miyajima island. The trip was about 4 hours long and totally worth the money (only ¥6000).It took us a little more than one hour paddling to the shrine. Arriving at the shrine we had as much time to take some pictures and to walk around as we wanted. Great shrine and unique experience as we avoided the crowds with our paddling boards. Masami, our guide (and shop owner) also took some pictures of us with his cameras during the trip.After taking all the pictures, we rested for 30-45 minutes - like 200 meters away from all the people visiting the sight - enjoying a drink which Masami handed us over for free. The place was totally calmly as no one besides us went there. Sitting under palm trees we had a really nice chat with Masami.After resting we went back to our paddle boards and passed the shrine for a second time, paddling back to the starting point.Really worth it if you want to see the shrine from another angle than the crowded ferries. We would do this tour anytime again as it was really wonderful and unique.10/10 RECOMMENDATION!!!PS: We booked the tour the day before. Masami confirmed our trip at the same evening. The location was easy to find (just 100m away from Hiroden-Ajina station - direct streetcar No.2 took us there from Hiroshima downtown).

What an amazing experience. Absolutely recommend if you’re coming to Hiroshima. Masami-san was the best guide we could have asked for: we had a small lesson at first which was so helpful and then off we went ! His relaxed and welcoming approach were so reassuring so we crossed with no issues at all and enjoyed the views. We went to Miyajima and got to see the toris in a very unique way. Then we had a little break, chatted and headed back to Lazybonez which is very nice place. He does an excellent Hawaiian coffee and a delicious « after surf » shake. Overall cannot recommend this enough, it was a perfect holiday day.
