wifiないこととカビ臭い事が淋しい おばちゃんも良い人なんだけどな。
friendly hosts, beautiful house, amazing food and a wonderful minshuku experience.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Minshuku Yonekawa. A big thank you to our host who was very welcoming, friendly - and a great cook. Food was so "oishi" (delicious) & plentiful. Very clean & quiet - and a lovely garden setting. A little bit far from Asuka station to walk, but a short taxi ride (1400JPY). It might help to have a taxi app (GO) to call one. We slept so comfortably & cosy on the tatami. A wonderful retreat after good days walking around Asuka. Thanks for this charming experience.
Had a wonderful stay in this guest house. Well upkeep traditional Japanese house ( we are frankly a bit worried to dirty or mess up the place, it is so clean and well kept 😅), wonderful host, sumptuous food.The lady host made great effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible which we are very thankful 🙏🙏🙏Location: it is a bit far from the train station. A 5 mins taxi ride will cost you about 1800 yen. It is almost impossible to flag a taxi at the taxi stand beside the train station. You have to use the GO/ taxi app Japan and order one.There is a bus stop about 100m away but the frequency is low. After 5pm, there is no bus at all.But we are there for trek, so walking is not an issue. Only challenge is the day when u have luggage with you.There are a few super cool dining places just less than 50m away. We don't have a chance to try them but they look so good.
石舞台古墳から歩ける距離で観光には好立地にある民宿。本数は少ないですが、駅とを結ぶバス停も近いです。お部屋は昔ながらの畳一間で、地元の素材を使ったお料理をお部屋まで運んでくれました。夕飯の明日香鍋も朝ごはんも美味しかったです。

周辺のオススメ
明るく世話好きなおかみさんが迎え入れてくれる宿です。トイレ、お風呂はリフォームしたばかり、今風のキレイな客室でした。フカフカの清潔な寝具で、通りに面しているのに夜は車通りがほとんどないのかとても静かで、おかげでぐっすりと寝られました。食事はツヤツヤのご飯と御当地飛鳥鍋が出ます。食事量は充分でしたが、野菜の煮物があると更に良かったか、と思いました。
