We were a group of 4 people and had a very good time here. The self check-in was very easy and comfortable. They had a sweet little lobby with free drinks, nice music and a place to leave your luggage, even after checking out. It always felt like coming home when entering the lobby.It's right in the middle of Osaka, so we had no issues reaching any destination. I would always come back here, if i want to stay in Osaka.
I recently stayed at Wellstay Shinsekai, and I have to say my experience was pretty mixed. The place has a nice, modern vibe and some solid amenities, which I liked. But I ran into some frustrating issues with customer service that really impacted my stay.One day, we accidentally left our room key cards behind when we went out. When we realized it, we called the number on the front desk for help. The guy who answered sounded super impatient. Instead of helping us straight away, he asked if anyone was in the room to let us in—which wasn't the case.When I asked if there was another way to get into our room since we had a flight the next day, I was honestly shocked by his response. He suggested we climb in through the balcony on the eighth floor! Seriously? That felt not only unsafe but also incredibly unprofessional.This whole experience really took away from the generally warm hospitality we’d enjoyed during our weeks in Japan. I get that self-served hotels have their limitations, but a little kindness and support during a tough moment would’ve gone a long way. It definitely left a sour impression.I got to say I do hope the hotel management takes a close look at their customer service, as improving this could make a huge difference for future guests. Big disappointment.
I loved this hotel! Very clean and comfortable, big rooms with tatami floors, you have an area where you can hang out by the balcony. Beds were comfortable. You also have a ref, kettle, microwave and a small kitchenette with plates and cups and other utensils you might need if you want to do a little cooking. You also have a washing machine in the room so you can load some laundry while you're out sightseeing. There'a also a big closet where you can hang your clothes and keep your luggage.This hotel is self check in and check out. There is no reception but you have all the info provided for you in the room and the pamphlets at the check in kiosk. There's a schedule for when you want your towels to be changed, you just have to bring them downstairs at a certain time. Wifi is fast and reliable.Bathroom was bigger than the usual japanese hotel bathroom and super clean as well. They provide toiletries too.There's a nice lobby where you can rest or even work. They provide an area where you can lock your luggages together and leave them if you arrive early or have a late flight out. They have a dispenser where you can get water, coffee or tea for free and a vending machine for other beverages.The only minor downside is the convenience stores are not very near and it's a bit of a walk to the train station (Maybe 8-10 min). We didn't mind the walk though because the weather was so nice. Just make sure you buy what you need if you see a 7-eleven, Lawson or Family Mart before you go back to the hotel.Overall, this hotel is definitely one that I can recommend. It's in a quiet area but just a few minutes walk to Shinsekai, Tsutenkaku Tower and Hondori shopping street, Isshinji temple (Buddha statues made from cremated ashes) and a lot of good restaurants. A mega Donki is in the area too.

飯店整體服務非常棒，住宿過程讓人相當滿意！房間設備一應俱全，品質優良，使用起來非常舒適。工作人員也非常貼心周到，大廳還提供免費熱飲，可以小酌放鬆。如果是自助旅行又有預算考量的旅客，這間飯店真的非常值得推薦，真心推！
・パジャマがありません！・チェックイン前に荷物は預けられません！これさえ注意すればとても良いところでした＾＾当たり前のサービスと思ってはダメと思い知りました。
おすすめです！！外観も中も綺麗！家族で泊まったけど子供も大喜び！また観光に来た時は泊まります。ありがとうございました。
