本物の藍染めを楽しめる体験は特別な思い出になります。
センスの良い作品を手に入れることができるお店です。
お店近くにお墓があるので、榊を買いに来ました。しっかりした榊をお安くしていただきました。
女性が一人で営業されているセンスの良いお店。藍染の商品が多いですが、食器やアクセサリーなどセレクトショップ的な商品や、高野槙の販売、自家製パンの販売も少しだけされてます。おしゃれなものが多いです。ゆっくり見るだけでも大丈夫な雰囲気ですので、近くを通るときは必ず寄ってます。
藍染め体験（約二時間）がとても楽しかったです！店内には様々な藍染め製品等ががあって買うことも可能！
the indigo making workshop here has to be one of my favorite experiences living in japan so far. the owner is so kind and knowledgeable. english friendly. she told us fabulous stories about the people who come to her workshops. she also sells beautiful pieces in her shop. we met her sweet, old dog named max, too.for transit, we got here on the train from osaka and flew out of shirahama airport to return. a cab to this workshop from shirahama train station was about ¥5000.

Amazing owner and great products. Asamoto has a wide range of indigo dye materials (japanese shibori) and even has workshops where you can make your own.
It was an amazing experience trying indigo-dying. The kind, patient and skillful owner explained different dying techniques and showed me step by step how they worked. The moment when I opened the cloth to see how the final pattern came out was most exciting and at the same time rewarding.They also have a variety of beautiful handmade indigo-dyed products for sale at the shop. I bought some as souvenirs and received very favourable comments.
Beautiful Indigo workshop and factory!You can either buy handmade indigo-dyed goods such as clothes, bags or coasters in the shop or manufacture your own products to take home with you under the guidance of the lovely owner Yumiko Asamoto.I hand-dyed my own bandana here and it turned out great :)Definitely worth a visit!
