I’m a performer on the Dotonbori Jazz Boat!Join us for an exciting 40-minute open-air cruise with lively Dixieland jazz — the perfect soundtrack for exploring Osaka.The boat runs on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and National holidays from April to November. It’s closed on weekdays, during winter, and in case of rain.Cruises depart at 2:30, 3:30, 5:30, 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30 PM. In July, August and September, only the four evening cruises run from 5:30 PM.Boarding is at Daikokubashi Pier, about a 5-minute walk west from the Glico Sign toward JR-Namba.Note: It’s NOT the same pier as the regular sightseeing boat pier!Tickets:• Adults: 3,000 yen (about USD 20)• Students: 1,500 yen• Kids (12 & under): FreeIt’ll be a highlight of your Osaka trip—come enjoy the rhythm of jazz with us!
오사카에서 경험한 최고의 낭만. 저녁 보트 탔는데 스윙 재즈 너무 좋고신나서 내려서 다다음 타임 구매해서 두 번 탐. 관객들 탬버린 리액션 최고. 그리고 무엇보다도 미리 인터넷 예약해서 해당 시간에 선착장가서 QR만 보여주고 바로 탑승할 수 있다는게 또 너~무 편함. 조금 과장해서 Woody Allen 영화에서 맨하탄 배경으로 조곤조곤 뿜어내는 스윙재즈 OST의 분위기 안 부럽다!...라면 거짓말이지만 이것도 그런대로 너무 좋음.
船に乗ってジャズ聴きながら至福の時間を過ごせますよ。
Nice little cruise while listening to jazz music in one of the most busiest river area. It was exhilarating to be on it during the ride. Check online for their openings and reserve online. They do speak English and they played a few songs.
This is the highlight of our Osaka trip! A 40 minute ride down the Osaka river passing by Dotonburi, but with an amazing live jazz band! This was a much better experience than the other standard 20 mins boat rides where all you do is listen to a tour guide ramble on forever. The atmosphere on the boat was amazing and we get to clap along with the band whilst enjoying the lovely cityscape. Everyone along the river waved at us, captivated by the jazz music along the river.
Nothing on their website says they open ticket counter at 11am, and on Google it says 9am. They should have some respect for their customers and UPDATE their information. We wasted over an hour of our morning trying to get here early in the morning just to find out we had to come back later.I originally gave them 1 star but I've updated it to 3 because during our cruise my girlfriend had an unexpected severe allergic reaction and when I asked to be let off the boat in order to go get her medication, they immediately pulled over and safely got us off - understanding the urgency of the matter. It was also pretty cool atmosphere (until we had to leave), although prior to leaving the boat kept pulling over to let others go through - so the majority of the time on the boat was still rather than moving.
在附近吃完晚餐已6點 想說去碰碰運氣 竟然幸運地用大阪周遊卡預約到8點半的班次~船程中享受著晚風與音樂 到戎橋時還會停留一下 船上與岸邊的人們一起隨著音樂同歡 拉近了彼此的距離 長輩和孩子們都留下很棒的回憶!
我們是用周遊卡參與這個活動的, 是一個很地道的體驗及值得參與的活動, 表演音樂的人員也很專業, 行程上我們可以用搖鼓一起打拍子, 沿途我們可以在船上漫遊道頓掘河邊景色, 會有很多途人在岸邊互動揮手, 因為我們的音樂太給引了, 短短40分鐘行程, 卻給我們一個愉快難忘的經歷, 推介！
