周辺のオススメ
血の池跡この辺りは本町遺跡と呼ばれ、播磨国衙の中心付近に位置する可能性が極めて高い。血の池はかつて市街地域を東北から南西に流れていた藍染川(青見川)の跡と伝えられ、池田輝政の築城の際城下の中濃内に取り込まれ、文化元年(一八〇四)「播州名所巡覧図絵」には総社境内図の西方に「血の池」が描かれている。戦前は池の東に能舞台もあったが、昭和五一年に埋め立てられ総社公園となった。かつて総社に人々が抜刀して踊り舞う「刀剣おとり神事」と呼ばれる旧暦七月の恒例行事があり、江戸時代には「踊舞神事」「修羅念仏」、江戸時代後半には「修羅踊り」「豊年踊り」と呼ばれた。その行事で傷を被った者が池で洗うと止血したとされたことが池の名称の由来という。平成一七年九月姫路市教育委員会CHINOIKEATOThis placecalled Chinoike site, and was originally where the Aizome River flowed. creatinga pond.
