The Lighthouse Tea Room is a must visit for anyone coming to Takayama.The cafe has such a cozy vibe. The owner is very passionate about her food. You absolutely must try her amazing cakes. We had the Crumble Caramel Apple Pie and the Hida Apple Pie and they were the best we ever had. We can’t wait to come back and visit again!
The Lighthouse Tea Room is a must visit for anyone in Takayama. Not only are all the food and baked goods delicious, the cafe has such cute and quaint decor and such a cozy vibe. The owner is incredibly kind and so passionate about her food. If you are vegan or gluten free, or even if you’re not and just love good food, you absolutely must try her amazing cakes. We had the egg breakfast toast as well, which was just as delicious. We can’t wait to come back and visit again!
すごく素敵なお店ですが、基本２組しか入れない、とても小さいスペースのお店なので注意です。小さいかわいいものがたくさん飾ってあり、小さなお子さんがいる方は触らせないよう気を遣って大変かも。ヴィーガンでないケーキも選べました。りんごケーキとアイスコーヒーとても美味しかった。流暢な英語で対応されていて素敵なオーナーさんでした。
とっても美味しいビーガンのサンドイッチをいただきました。中にフムスが入っており、最高でした！また、店主の手作りのスパイスもとっても美味しかったです。
高山で貴重なビーガン・グルテンフリー料理、照明や置いてあるものも素敵な小さなお店。丁寧で美味しい！

This place was amazing! I had the avocado toast - she had an option for GF bread that was delicious - there was pesto on it and a balsamic glaze. My family got the apple pie which also had GF pie options- we plan on coming back as it was delightful as was the service. The owner is very pleasant, welcoming, and knowledgeable about ingredients. Her English was also very good.
