From the moment we starting chatting to Emma and Clayton, I knew we were in good hands. Everything about our stay was magic! Clayton picked us up from Nagano, and seeing the cabins in real life was like a dream. They are just so cute and well set up with everything we needed. It was awesome to come home each day to a toasty cabin and the beds were comfy!! The kids loved our lil cabin and played outside in the snow, made jumps and tobogganed. Clay and Em are truly made to be cabin hosts, they are the most down to earth people and were more than generous with their time and so happy to help us with any request!! Do yourself a favour and stay at Yama Cabins! You won’t regret it! We left as friends!! ❤️Kerry, Mick and the kids X
We had the best time staying at Yama Cabins. The cabin was so well set up, nice and warm after a day of riding and really comfortable for our group. It had everything we needed and there was enough room for all of our gear. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was hot. It was a reasonable walking distance to Echoland or Happo-One so we had variety for dinners and nights out. I highly recommend staying here.
Close enough to the main street of Echoland, but tucked away into the hillside of upper Misorano, Yama Cabins are the perfect place to stay in Hakuba.This was our second year staying here with our 5 year old, and we love the balance between the short distance to restaurants and shops, & feeling truly secluded in our own snowy wonderland!The open plan log cabins are beautiful, and comfortable, creating unforgettable memories. The location ensures easy access to the best mountains in Hakuba.Thankyou so much for an amazing stay and we’ll be back again soon!
Yama Cabins are truly the cutest and coziest little cabins tucked away in the mountains. We traveled here with our young kids, and they absolutely loved everything about their cabins—the warmth, the comfort, and the special little moments the space brought to them.The hosts were beyond amazing. Hands down the best hospitality you could ever ask for—welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely caring.We loved our stay so much that it was an easy decision to come back. This place left such a beautiful impression on our family that we’re already going for the second time. If you’re looking for a magical, family-friendly mountain getaway, Yama Cabins is it. ✨🏡
Yama Cabins was honestly such a dreamy mountain escape. I stayed in the beautiful wooden cabin made from big, round logs, and it was so cool — cosy, rustic, and perfectly set into the mountain landscape. The craftsmanship alone makes you smile the moment you walk in.I had the entire cabin to myself (which felt like pure luxury), but it would easily fit four people comfortably. Plenty of space to relax, unwind, and spread out after a day outdoors.Very cool Japanese-style bathroom. After hiking all day, it was the perfect place to slow down and get clean.I visited in autumn (over September and October) which is a magical time of year here. Still warm enough to skip the jumper on some days. The colours were unreal, and the area is especially famous in this season for mountain bike trails and hiking. I chose to hike, and every trail felt like stepping into a postcard — forest paths, mountain views, misty moments, and fresh air everywhere.If you’re looking for a place that feels both adventurous and deeply calming, Yama Cabins delivers. It’s the kind of stay that makes you feel grounded, refreshed, and already planning your return before you’ve even left.The staff, Emma and her husband, picked me up from Nagano as part of their car service they offer and even drove me around to see the sights of Hakuba. Emma was super approachable if I needed anything throughout my stay.Highly recommend!!
まさに楽園。グリーンシーズンに宿泊しましたが、本当に素晴らしかったです。エマさんとクレイさんは素晴らしいホストで、長野駅まで迎えに来てくれ、キャビンまで送ってくれました。滞在の全てが素晴らしく、子供たちも日本で泊まった中で一番好きな場所だと言っていました。
