Clean, new accommodation. The only real disappointment was the extreme markup on the drinks and snacks supplied with the room. Most accommodation in japan these things are complementary or sold with no markup. An indication of price should have been provided.
We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment on the third floor. There was quite a bit of stair climbing, but it was manageable and honestly felt minor compared to the daily walks around the village to get to the ski slopes.The staff were very helpful. Levi, in particular, stood out for being exceptionally friendly and responsive throughout our stay.The two-bedroom apartment had a spacious living and dining area. The en-suite bathrooms were slightly compact but equipped with good-pressure showers. Some reviewers had mentioned that the toilets could be cold; we found this manageable by closing the bedroom doors and leaving the toilet doors open so the room air-conditioning could help warm the space.The price is on the higher side compared to other accommodations, but the inn is very well located near the bus terminal. Having breakfast served in the room daily was also very convenient, as there are limited breakfast options nearby.One small suggestion would be for the apartment to provide kitchen towels or dishcloths.
Great space for our family with baby. We enjoyed the modern rooms and close proximity to everything for skiing or exploring Nozawa. The team was very helpful in navigating and reserving restaurants or cars for activities.

Excellent property only a 15 minute walk from the moving road to the ski resort. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well stocked. The property was beautiful. Check in was easy and there's a room for skis and gear down stairs. Breakfast was provided in our rooms and was delicious.
I spent 3 nights at Ski Inn Nowaga with my family. Check in was easy. However please be patient on your arrival looking for a staff to check in. It is a very small private accommodation for 4 families or groups. There is no reception counter. The staff shall be waiting for your arrival. But she was working at the back of the hotel on my arrival. We waited about 5-6 minutes outside the hotel.We love the location. It’s not in the center of the central but Nogawa Onsen is not big. Walking around is easy. The hotel is not in a busy area. The public onsen is just right across the hotel.Everyday we looked forward to the breakfast served by the hotel. I would give the breakfast 10 stars if I could because they were never repeated. One jug of coffee, one jug of milk and one jug of juice daily. Hot food everyday, maybe not hot. Warm food daily. I guess it’s hard to keep the food hot in this freezing cold weather.The owner and staff are very friendly. Amenities provided in the rooms are good quality. I would highly recommend this place. My funny husband said don’t rate it too well so that we would get to book this place again in the future. LOL!
