We booked an instructor for the day and she met us at our residence. We went to Nagasaka gondola to get started, only to find out that it was closed and there were very long queues for alternative options to get up the mountain. As official instructors, I would have thought that they would have been briefed on gondola closures. If we had all known before, we would have gone straight to the Hikagi gondola. It was a surprise to all of us and it wasted 1.5 hours of our lesson time to finally be able to get somewhere to start skiing.
Bogdan was able to provide a very enjoyable experience in assessing areas for improvement and the drills to help correct.Would highly recommend for those looking to improve their powder skiing or their carving.
I felt so lucky to have lessons with Bogdan! It was my first time ever skiing and although I was a bit nervous he was very patient and guided me through everything in a detailed fashion with great explanations. He obviously cares about helping you get your technique right from the beginning, and provided actionable feedback throughout the lesson. He patiently worked with me when there were times I was a bit slow to pick up certain techniques. With his guidance I went from absolute novice to being able to enjoy skiing the green slopes with my partner!Thank you Bogdan for helping me build the foundation for hopefully more skiing adventures in the future! Niamh was the best instructor we could have hoped for. Our girls (11 and 9) had zero experience with skiing and within three half day lessons, they independently did a few green runs. She's very patient and her instructions are well paced even for absolute beginners. Can't recommend her highly enough.
Max is hands-down the best instructor we’ve ever had. We learned more with him in just one hour than we did from our previous two instructors and hours of YouTube tutorials combined. His ability to watch your technique closely and provide immediate, actionable corrections is what sets him apart.By our second four-hour lesson, we were already comfortably riding intermediate runs without a care for how steep the terrain was, only to look up after and feel amazed that we just rode down without much difficulty. We also managed to squeeze in some “how to carve” at the end. If you want to see real progress, book Max. He doesn't just teach—he gives confidence!
Amazing snowboard lessons from our Instructor Max. His instructions were super clear and easy to follow and he is really patient with us. We were a couple so he watches our every turn (somehow managing to watch both of us at the same time) and gives the right amount of feedback so that you can keep working on those improvement areas. It's our 2nd time snowboarding and with Max's guidance, we managed to go down 2 intermediate runs while linking turns! We've made so much progress with Max - totally recommend to request him if you're taking up some snowboard lessons.

RIDE NOZAWAでボグダンと彼のチームに出会った時は、まさに大当たりでした。これまで日本で受けたスキーレッスンは当たり外れがあり、凡庸なことが多かったので、スキースクールの予約はしていませんでしたが、ボグダンのおかげで状況は一変しました。彼のレッスンは詳細で、思慮深く、体系的でした。一つ一つのテクニックの理論を丁寧に説明し、それをゲレンデで実際にどのように応用するかを教えてくれ、本当に感銘を受けました。さらに感銘を受けたのは、彼の多才さです。友人の初めてのスキーレッスンを手伝ってくれただけでなく、明確で実践的なアドバイスでカービングの技術も教えてくれました。確かに料金は他のスキースクールよりも高いですが、今回の体験でその理由がはっきりと分かりました。質の高い指導、プロ意識、そして上達への真摯な配慮は、その価値を十分に証明しています。本当に役立つ、効果のあるスキーレッスンを受けたい方に、ぜひお勧めします。
ボグダンさんと彼のチームは素晴らしかったです。大人数のグループでしたが、私たち全員の要望にとてもよく対応してくれました！予約の際もとても親切に対応していただき、週を通して必要に応じて柔軟に対応してくれました。子供たちも少し調整が必要でしたが、とても親切でした。子供たちは皆レッスンを楽しんでいて、中には初めてスキーをする子もいました。素晴らしい野沢温泉に戻ったら、ぜひお願いしたいです！ありがとうございました☺️

We had 3 half day lessons as a family and couldn't recommend it enough. As novice skiers, the lessons were tailored to our level and then as we built confidence. It was great that Bogdan took us out on the slopes and explained to us how to use the lifts etc as well as what we could aim to be comfortable doing by the end of our stay. Thanks for a great experience!
