一保堂茶舗 京都高島屋店の特徴
フレンドリーなスタッフがいて、英語の価格リストもあり、外国人にも利用しやすいです。
高島屋B1での購入は便利で、営業時間に行くと売り切れが心配でした。
2025年に訪れた際、4種類の抹茶が揃い、豊富な品揃えが魅力でした。
Ipoddo Tea! They had all of their matcha powders in stock when I visited and no limits on how many cans you can get! I did find it hard to locate their stall but the staff all around the department store were very friendly and even brought me over to them!FYI for tourists you can get 5% off (tax free) at most places inside the store on purchases over ¥3000 - immediately at purchase. plus an additional 5% or 10% (tax free) on purchases over ¥5,500 - you have to go to the top 7th floor and get in line for this. I recommend doing this though, as the lines moved quickly both times I went up there 👍🏻
お手頃な価格だったので、店頭オススメの、缶入りの大福茶を買いました。ご自宅用か、贈り物用か丁寧に対応していただいてよかったです。味もとても良かったです。
reliable place to get ippodo matcha in takashimaya b1. visited in november 2025 across a few days at varying times in the afternoon with most matcha types still in stock. strict limit on 1 matcha item per customer. they have a price list in english which is helpful for foreigners / tourists.
It's just Ippodo teas, as it is their store. The selection is as in any Ippodo store. The prices for matcha reflect the world's sudden craziness for matcha combined with Takashimaya's location (3-4k JPY for 20gr).But, when you have limited other options, head straight to level B1 (food).
Great selection of tea! I’d recommend coming quite early, to get the best chance of having the most choices. It’s a bit hard to find, but feel free to ask the other store staff - they’ll help you find them! The vendors speak good English, in case you don’t know Japanese. Thank you very much for the amazing green tea!
Had 4 types of matcha powder when I visited in August 2025. The staff were very friendly and helpful! They have a one can limit per customer. The store is a little bit hard to find in the midst of a bustling shopping area.

We revisited this stall at Takashimaya B1 as the matcha we wanted was sold out the day before. Visited at opening hour 10am just to be sure. Thinking that we would be the first, we were surprised that we arrived at the moment when the opening hour queue dispersed and a few of the teas were already sold out???!!! Luckily it wasn’t what we wanted and we managed to get our matcha.
