I don't usually feel compelled to write reviews but this wine bar was truly incredible. An amazing setting, brilliant service and great wine. It was a wonderful place to share a bottle of wine on our last night in Kyoto - I can't wait to go back.

Great wine, excellent service and amazing vibe and location. You can truly sense that the host, who is a sommerlier, has an extensive knowledge of wine. As a bonus she is also super kind! I find this to be a hidden gem in in a beautiful neighbourhood very close to the Gion district. You can enjoy a glass while looking out on the little canal outside. 10/10 place, would definitely come back and definitely recommend!
Fantastic wine bar with great selection of wine by the glas and full bottles. Treated ourself with a bottle of champagne to the sound of the running water by the streets in the background. Great wine bar, very calming atmosphere and delicious wines from all over the world. Mikako is an excellent sommelier and even better host. Very attentive. Try to get the seats looking out the window overlooking the river and bridge.

ビールは美味しく、景色は素晴らしく、顧客サービスも最高です！What a hidden gem! Totally recommend this wine cellar for a real Japanese experience while in Kyoto. Mikako (Wine sommelier) is super friendly and accommodating, very willing to understand us in English and accommodate our food intolerance.
This is a really special wine bar. We had a beautiful bottle of french white and ate wafer thin salami with perhaps the most beautiful view in Kyoto, sat at a wooden bar overlooking the stream. A hidden gem; easy to miss but a truly perfect spot. Mikako, the owner and sommelier, was the perfect host.
