I recently visited Toki no Ha (時の端) in Kyoto, and I absolutely loved it.The shop itself is beautiful. The moment you walk in, you can feel the spirit of Wabi-Sabi through its walls, floors, and the understated interior. Nothing feels overdesigned—just calm, natural, and timeless.What makes this place even more special is that the studio is right behind the shop. The ceramic pieces you see on display are actually handmade there by the artisans. Knowing that each piece is crafted by hand gives every bowl, cup, and plate its own unique character.If you appreciate handmade ceramics and Japanese craftsmanship, this is one place you simply shouldn't miss while in Kyoto.— PCB---先日、京都の時の端を訪れました。本当に素敵なお店でした。店内に入った瞬間から、壁や床、空間全体に「侘び寂び」の美しさが感じられ、落ち着いた雰囲気に包まれます。派手さはありませんが、その自然で上質な空間がとても心地よかったです。さらに感動したのは、お店の奥が工房になっていること。店頭に並んでいる器は、その工房で職人さんが一つひとつ手作業で制作されています。だからこそ、どの作品にも温もりと個性があり、見ているだけでも楽しい時間を過ごせました。手仕事の陶器や日本のものづくりが好きな方なら、京都でぜひ訪れていただきたいお店です。— PCB
A beautiful ceramic stone where you can see into their workshop and watch the pieces being made. Each piece is one of a kind and you can feel the considered design approach. There’s a great range of pieces and approachable price points. It’s a quiet and calm atmosphere and the store itself is incredibly beautiful. A little sanctuary away from the crowds.
工房を併設されたオリジナル陶器のギャラリーショップ。飲食店の別注品を制作されているとのことで、ちょっと珍しい一品に出会えます。女性スタッフの方ばかりなので、やわらかな雰囲気にほっこりします。
Waouhhh ! Quel lieu ! Impressionnant de cohérence, de simplicité et de beauté !Une autre boutique existe dans le quartier ancien de la céramique de Kyoto , tout aussi belle. Merci pour ces lieux et ces expériences magiques !
