We were walking on the Philosopher's Path when this store caught our attention. We crossed the stream of water and stumbled upon the most beautiful Japanese Kokeshi collection we had seen in 3 weeks in Japan. The owner was really nice, and the store was so beautiful. After spending several minutes, we could not resist the temptation of purchasing one; she was wrapped with care in a beautiful box and arrived in perfect condition. This is the place to purchase the perfect souvenir of our trip to Kyoto.
I went out of my way to buy a doll. The quality is so much better here than the shops in the center of town where all the tourists congregate. Prices are not necessary cheaper but the quality is better.
哲学の道の途中にあります。日本のコケシが海外の方にとても人気らしいです。伝統的なものから現代的な可愛いらしいコケシまでさまざまあります。哲学の道は桜の時期とても混んでいるので、あえて時期をずらしてのんびり散歩の合間に立ち寄るのも良いですね😊
手工木制的“木芥子”，是识别度极高的日本民间工艺。位于哲学之道旁的店面中陈设很多别有创意的作品，如星际大战、圣诞老人等。忍不住就“剁手”了。
This is a charming shop that specializes in kokeshi, carved wooden Japanese dolls. The dolls are beautiful and of high quality. One of these dolls would probably be one of the best souvenirs you could get on a trip to Japan. Additionally, the woman working at the shop was very kind. I’ll be coming back the next time I’m in the area.
卯三郎こけしが買えるショップです！
Very nice place selling transition Japanese Kokeshi dolls. High quality and very nice designs. They even have some Star Wars themed ones.
こけし専門店です。昔ながらのこけしと言うよりは今風のおしゃれな創作こけしが大半です。ちょっとお土産にも良いですがインバウンドのお客様にはとても良いのではないかと思います。
