富士吉田市の中心部を走る本町通りは、富士山を眺め、写真を撮るのに最も雄大なスポットの一つです。私たちは幸運にも晴れた日に訪れ、雄大な富士山を堪能することができました。本町通りは現在、インスタ映えスポットとして話題となっており、多くの観光客で賑わっています。訪れる際は、地元の方々への配慮を心がけ、道路上での写真撮影は控えましょう。富士吉田市には、人混みを避けながら富士山を美しく眺められるスポットが他にもたくさんあります。
Came here early in the morning during weekday. Shops were still closed, but there was no crowd. I walked around trying to get a good view of Mount Fuji bit I was a bit unfortunate, it was a clear day but there were cloud surrounding the top of Fuji.I really like this town. Peaceful, a good getaway from the hectic life in Tokyo. Enjoyed my day trip exploring around the town of Fuji.
Driving along Fuji-Honcho Main Street, we were constantly treated to incredible views of Mount Fuji, looming majestically in the background. This bustling street offers a unique mix of traditional charm and modern convenience, making it the perfect place to experience local life while still being surrounded by stunning natural beauty. With every turn, you’re presented with another angle of Mount Fuji, making this road a photographer’s dream, especially during golden hour.Our children loved pointing out different views of the mountain as we strolled down the street. The shops, cafes, and restaurants lining the road gave us plenty of opportunities to explore and sample some local treats. What really made this part of the trip special was how seamlessly Mount Fuji fit into the everyday landscape here—it felt like it was part of the town itself, ever-present and awe-inspiring.Fuji-Honcho Main Street is a fantastic place to explore on foot, with plenty of small businesses offering local snacks, souvenirs, and even Mount Fuji-themed goods. The street is lively, yet it still has a peaceful charm, with the mountain always in view as you walk around. As the day progressed, the sight of Mount Fuji gradually bathed in the soft, warm light of the setting sun was unforgettable.For anyone visiting the area, a trip down Fuji-Honcho Main Street is a must. Whether you’re grabbing a bite to eat, shopping, or just soaking in the views, the iconic presence of Mount Fuji makes this simple street one of the most scenic and memorable stops in the region. It’s the perfect blend of local culture and natural beauty!
