Akikoさんがホストとして迎えてくれ、暖かい交流を楽しめます。
自然素材の木の梁や畳が心地よい、美しい家の雰囲気です。
しまなみ街道を自転車で楽しむ際に訪れるのに最適な場所です。
しまなみ街道何度目かでいつもと違うとこ行こうと、上島町へ。本土とは微妙につながらない閉鎖諸島だが上島諸島間は立派な橋で繋がっていると言う不思議エリア。高専があって島に下宿してる若人たちもいる。そんなとこにある最近できたお宿です。2階で三名寝れました。民宿というよりインです。オーナーのねえさんが良い方で、そのお友達も良い方で、みんなでその辺で買ってきた美味いもん食べて飲んで酔っ払ってました。アットホームというよりは知り合いのとこ泊まりました感。色々期待してると外れてしまうかもですが、なんの期待もせずに行くとこりゃええのう、という不思議宿です。猫いるのでアレルギー体質の方は注意ですが、猫好きにはたまらん。
We had a wonderful stay. The room and house are super comfortable, the host is very welcoming, we had long conversations about Japan, the world and our experiences, had also a dinner together. We couldn't be more happy with the experience. Probably the best guest house we had in 6 weeks in Japan. And the cherry on top, you wake up and finish the day with this view!
友人と二泊しました。目の前は開けた海で、夕暮れ時に庭のデッキに座って暮れていく夕焼けを見ながらビールを飲んだり、猫と戯れたり、都会では味わえないゆっくりとした素敵な時間を大満喫しました。2階の寝室からの景色も最高です。キッチンには基本的なものがすべて揃っているので、食材を持って行けば自炊ができます。運が良ければ島の人たちとの交流もできます。特別なことをしなくても、近くの浜辺にて散歩したり近所の小山でハイキングするだけでめちゃくちゃ癒されます。また必ず来たいです！ありがとうございました😊
I visited this place during the bike riding adventure across the Shima Nami Bridge Trail. Arrive to Yugi Shima by transportation ferry that takes bikes along with vehicles and people.The people on the island were warm and welcoming, and the food around the area felt truly homemade from the island itself.The biggest surprise is that the host of the place to stay, spoke English and lived in the San Francisco Bay area for a long time before returning to Japan.The infrastructure has lots of wooden beams, and it truly felt like a well maintained house based on Japanese craft, especially with plenty of tatami flooring along with some futons and buckwheat (soba) pillows. Sleeping throughout the night was calm and peaceful. You do not have to worry about any traffic noise and the sunrise is rather beautiful as well.If you want to find a stay that has a highly welcoming host with lots of knowledge around the area, I recommend you go there and make sure to always give back your courtesy the way people give courtesy to you.
Of my 6 day trip biking down the Shimanani Kaido, visiting all the different islands no place did I feel more welcomed and put at ease than staying at common Yado Myojin. The hostess Akiko lived in San Francisco for 10 years and was so easy to talk and connect to, the house was beautiful I wish I took pictures of its natural wood beams and tatami mats instead of the kitty’s that hang out around the house.This was also my favorite island to visit on the tour and it comes with my highest recommendation.

周辺のオススメ
Un immense merci à Akiko qui nous a si gentiment reçus. Elle nous a recommandé les curiosités et restaurants de l’île, ce qui nous a beaucoup plu. Mais en plus, elle nous a conviés à un petit concert local que nous avons adoré et cela nous a vraiment beaucoup touchés.Nous recommandons très chaleureusement Akiko et sa charmante maison où nous avons passé trois jours délicieux.
