It was an incredible experience visiting this store. We did the caligraphy with the help of Mr. Yoshi and he was super frendly. The experience is well worth it.
This is a local calligraphy store found in Nara, Japan. You can have your name drawn in Kanji as well. They make it right in front of you.
We went to Nara Deer Park on a Sunday and it was busy. The route to this shop from the great Buddha hall passed temples on the way and was pretty gentle. This store was not crowded at all. It had all the Souvenirs we wanted and they had crackers for the deer very late in the day that we fed to the deer by the big hill. We got crackers here (everywhere closer to the entrance of the park was sold out).
老闆跟老闆娘都很貼心親切 服務也非常好 很喜歡這裡 裡面的東西也都很喜歡 便宜但很有當地的氣息 很喜歡。
If you want to buy souvenirs and trinkets for cheap, this is the place. A very kind obachan runs this place and she actually waved us to come inside because it was raining. Please chat with her! She is very nice! She also sells premium woodworks which I think were crafted by her family/relatives
