I bought a tea whisk and a matcha bowl. I’m looking forward to making matcha with them. The bowls all had beautiful colors and patterns. They have English-speaking staff, and tax-free shopping was available.
There were so many beautiful handmade matcha bowls.If you’re looking to buy one, this is truly the best shop in Kyoto.The staff were also incredibly kind.I enjoyed a matcha latte and a sweet, and they were both delicious.I highly recommend this place as a café as well.
禁煙です。お抹茶を綺麗な器で頂きました！沢山のお茶碗に目移りして写真撮りそこなうくらいです、海外の方が好みそうです。

The shopping experience was excellent. The staff answered all of our questions and helped us look through the bowls until we found ones we liked. After paying, they brought out a dessert and cup of matcha as a thank you.The customer service of Kiwakoto is incredible and I highly recommend their product to anyone searching for a high quality, and unique souvenir from Kyoto. I will certainly shop here again next time I travel to Japan.
