Had an amazing stay here and a great bargain! Everything was spotless upon arrival and the place is huge (by Japan standards). Clint lives on one half of the house. The other half is for airbnb guests (2 rooms). I was lucky enough to be the only guest which meant I had a bedroom upstairs which was already larger than I'm used to, as well as a whole downstairs to myself which includes a large living space with a TV, a kitchen, and a bathroom. A washing machine and cooking supplies are also provided! Clint is also a very hospitable host. He welcomed me upon arrival and didn't seem to mind spending as much time as needed to discuss local tips. He speaks both English and Japanese very well which is a plus!Clint was also quite thoughtful in designing the house for travelers. There were many instances where I was surprised by the convenience of some of the features. For example, I was very happy to find a couple of electrical outlets built right into the bed frame. There is also a mirror in each bedroom which I really appreciated! When I did laundry, I ran out of space to hang up my clothes so I had them draped on things in the bathroom. Clint was nice enough to bring in an extra drying rack and hang them up for me when i was out!It's super close to the metro (5 min walk) and Haneda airport (only 2 metro stops on the local line). I flew into the Narita airport and it was still quite easy to get there taking the Narita Express to Shinagawa, then about 10-15 mins on the local train to Otorii station. The area around this apartment is not super interesting for tourists, but I found a few good restaurants and the nearby park is very nice. It is a good opportunity to see typical Japanese suburban life. And like I said, it connects very easily to the rest of the Tokyo area.

Large clean room with a fridge! Air con worked well. The shared facilities included a kitchen, seperate shower and toilet, all of which were clean.
Great place near the airport and easy to access Tokyo and Yokohama.
