What a lovely picturesque cafe! The atmosphere is whimsical, a blend of traditional Japanese and warm earthy colours and it's so full of plants everywhere! It's almost a little like you've stepped in a Ghibli spellshop!Plus, the matcha latte was absolutely delicious! Don't miss this stop on the Nakasendo ☺️
Very nice coffee shop just across the street from Nagiso Station. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. I had a smoked salmon sandwich and enjoyed to the very last bite. The space is also very comfortable, bright with a lot of sunlight during the day, and cozy in the evening. Highly recommend.

A peaceful and beautifully decorated cafe with some good food options. The perfect place to spend your time as you wait for a train since trains are not frequent in this area.Plenty of seating, indoors and outdoors.
What a hidden gem. Great food, interesting interior and convenient location.The Izumiya Plate was a great way to start the day. Nutritious, delicious and just the right amount. Coffee was recommendable. The atmosphere, friendliness of the staff and regular foot traffic from those about to embark on their Nakasendo adventures was great.To top it off, it was full English service with a smile.I'll be going back and taking riding parties with me!Thanks for the memorable breakfast pitstop.
Very cozy space, conveniently located steps from the train and bus station in Nagiso. Staff was very friendly, the lattes were tasty, and the food was excellent. I would definitely go there again.
Super friendly and cozy coffee shop right beside Nagiso station. English and Japanese menus available. Host spoke perfect English and was very kind to fill my water bottle with ice and water for me.
Perfect soy latte - if you’re Australian and looking for a great coffee you found your place! Such a sweet little cafe in this charming town. Our kids loved the matcha latte

Perfect spot to stop for a coffee and a rest after walking on the Nakasendo trail. It’s just across the street from Nagiso station, so we stopped in while waiting for our train. The coffee was very tasty, the cafe has a lovely ambiance, and the service was very good. They also have a few board games, a clean restroom, and cool decorations.
