池峯園地の特徴
池峯園地は540本の紅葉樹に囲まれた絶景のスポットです。
歩いてしか行けない秘境で、静かな湿原の生態系を楽しめます。
シュレゲルゼニガエルの鳴き声が響く、自然のサンクチュアリです。
歩いてしか行けない、ある意味秘境で、カエルのサンクチュアリ管理はほとんどされていない湿原は貴重なので残してほしい。
The Ikemine Pond, located along the Ikemine Momiji-no-Sato Hiking Trail, is a spring-fed wetland formed by rainwater seeping through the surrounding forest. The pond lies slightly downhill from the “Momiji-no-Sato” area, which is planted with around 540 maple trees.Around the pond, you’ll find wooden benches and information boards, but the area has been largely preserved in its natural state. This spot is also home to the Schlegel’s green tree frog, whose calls can be heard from spring to early summer.
