A quaint and comfortable studio apartment in Nagiso.The location is a 5 minute walk away from the station with a beautiful view of the bridge and river.The room is clean and comfortable. I am glad to say that there was no unpleasant smell during our visit.However, the sound of passing cars is indeed a minus point. The provided earplugs do help.Check-in is easy. Lots of English information about the town and nearby restaurants.Overall a pleasant stay. Only not recommended if you are a light sleeper.
A wonderful place to stay if you are looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of the cities in Japan. The perfect place to stay if hiking the Nakasendo trail
Unfortunately, we would not recommend staying here.When we arrived, the apartment was cold and very smelly. We tried to heat it a bit with the Air Conditioning as there’s no heating, but couldn’t get rid of the musty smell.Even though we wore earplugs, I couldn’t sleep - the road is incredibly loud.Positive aspects: Good location and general cleanliness.

Nice and spacious flat / studio with beautiful view over the river and bridge. On the other side, there is the national highway, which can be quite loud at times. Earplugs were provided though.Fridge and microwave available.Very easy check-in via code to get the keys.
I got to Nagiso around 6.30pm without accommodation, so I came here asking for rooms. Even if they were on holiday, the owner prepared the room for me very quickly, doing the cleaning and have it all arranged in 1h. The studio is great, very beautiful, with all the amenities you'd need and with a great view over the river and bridge. There is some noise as it's located near the main road but it was no real problem for me. I paid 5000¥ for 1 night for the entire studio, but the studio can accommodate up to 4 people (there are 2 single beds and an extendible sofa). First of all the 3.9 rating is not fair!- there was no smell when we arrived- the room was clean and the temperature was about 20 degrees celcius-you can hear the street but with earplugs i had a really good sleep-the room was genours spaced and nice 👍- and the view is really awesome 🌄after asking he showed aus how the heating works and there is also a HOW TO on the table next to the tv
