弘前駅前の特徴
弘前駅前にはバスターミナルがすぐ近くにありますのでとても便利です。
弘前大学行きのバスは3番線から出発し、手軽にアクセス可能です。
弘前城へは100円で乗れる巡回バスがあり、観光に最適です。

弘前大学は3番線からでるバスにのる。弘前駅から弘前大学前までバスで7分。大学前のバス停からちょっと先の反対側に帰りのバス停あり。帰りは弘前駅まで24分かかる。バス停近くの弘南バス弘前駅前案内所で弘前市内のバスの時刻表(A4サイズの薄い冊子)がもらえる。便利。＊弘南バス案内所は弘前駅とアートホテル弘前シティの間。レンタカーの隣。小さいので目立たない。
すぐ近くにバスターミナルがあります。指定席の無い高速バスに乗るなら、多少歩いてでも始発のバスターミナルから乗った方が良いかもしれません。

Bus Stop 2 (just outside Hirosaki station exit) has a 100yen feeder bus service call the Dote-machi Loop Bus (starts from Bus Terminal, 10mins interval, Suica payment ok, bus returns to this same bus stop as loop service).Board here to drop at Hirosaki Cultural Centre bus stop #16 aka Bunka Centre-Mae (15min ride, or 30mins walk otherwise), where you can walk 5mins north to Tsugaru-han Neputa mura Village. Same dropoff stop will bring you back to Hirosaki station bus stop.For those going to Hirosaki Castle, there is a stop near to Starbucks, south of Hirosaki Castle park.And one more thing - you need to press the stop button to alight, so fire up your map and listen / look out for the bus stop announcements / random flashes on the screen at the driver's front. Tap your Suica once when boarding (reader next to your right), and once more when alighting (reader next to driver's left).Bus is pretty small, so large luggages can get quite troublesome (no good place to store).The bus stops aren't quite conspicuous (just a small stand), so drop a pin on your map to help retrace your steps where you alighted.
