I was genuinely surprised when the waitress brought out my plate—I couldn’t believe how generous the portions were! They far exceeded my expectations, especially considering the prices, which were refreshingly reasonable compared to other places.This spot is a fantastic choice for any meal of the day. Beyond the impressive portion sizes, their extensive menu includes options I haven’t seen anywhere else, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The dish I ordered was flavorful and satisfying, the staff was kind and attentive, and the spacious seating area made dining comfortable and relaxed.Overall, it’s the perfect place to enjoy hearty, classic American comfort food without breaking the bank.
I had a very pleasant experience at Tun Alley. I was passing by the area of Iwakuni on a road trip to Hiroshima and was in the mood for some food from back home. Overall, the food was alright, but I really want to highlight my server, Jose. He was extremely nice, checked up on us very frequently, and was very kind to my son. My son received the wrong order from the kitchen, and Jose immediately resolved the issue. The atmosphere was very standard and comfortable. Would recommend!
Great staff, clean and pleasant atmosphere. Gave 4 stars because the fries weren’t the best. But honestly pretty decent. Burger was great. Tender, juice and the bun was a perfect balance between soft and crispy. All for extremely low price.
Usually a nice quiet place but the fries are god awful. Curly fries are cold and rock hard like they were left under a heat lamp for an hour, broke in my hands like a pretzel. Regular fries were just cold.Orientation of everything is nice and portions are amazing, that is if the food is edible.Service is low rated because we didn't have anyone come by to ask if we needed anything until it was for the check.Someone else posted something like "lowest quality food compared to japanese restaurants", I honestly couldn't agree more. Go take a taxi to McDonald's.
3 of us went there on a Thursday after work for their prime rib special. It was my second time. The first time, it's obvious the meat is precut and most probably pre-packaged. There's 3 different portion sizes. Good creamy horseradish. We all ordered rare and medium rare, and they were. But the meats were just luke warm. The quality was acceptable and tasted good. This second visit we got there at 1615 and the special was not available until 1700. We ordered from the menu, and I selected the 14-inch fully loaded combination pizza 🍕. It was REALLY good! I couldn't eat it all in one setting. Gave a slice to each of my friends and still took two and half slices home. The service was friendly and efficient. Pricing was reasonable. I'll definitely go back for the pizza 🍕 on a different day so I can try out the prime rib special again on Thursday.
This is one of my most frequented local restaurants for American fare. Typically I will come here for their breakfast meals, a mimosa & coffee. My wife is a huge fan of the Fresh Start Salad which contains smoked salmon, avocado, fruits & vegetables. Impressively, their fruit & veggies have always been quite fresh. Oh & the coffee is excellent.Fortunately there is never a wait & the waitresses are usually attentive. The food normally comes out quick and is always well-prepared.
The servers at Tun Alley are really friendly, hard working, and accommodating which is why I gave service 4 stars. Unfortunately, the kitchen is slow at producing orders. We came for breakfast and both got the omelets with home fries. My omelet was fluffy and perfectly cooked but the home fries were undercooked. Unlimited coffee refills are a plus.
