This long-established hair salon in Fujimi City, Saitama, is just a five-minute walk from the station and even offers parking. Thanks to its many years in business, it attracts a largely older clientele, but the stylists’ skills are rock-solid, and plenty of foreign residents also come here. That’s because most Japanese hairdressers are accustomed to cutting thick, straight Asian hair and often struggle with the finer, curlier texture common among Caucasians, whereas the stylists here carefully account for those differences and deliver excellent results. Prices are very reasonable, too—another reason I highly recommend this salon.
