従来のハイキングコースの特徴
西青山駅から青山高原の頂上まで繋がる定番のハイキングコースです。
コース沿いにはジョバクラブという馬術エリアが点在しています。
昔のバブル期の廃墟を経て、長い階段を登る独特なトレイルがあります。
This is the conventional hiking trail connecting Nishi-Aoyama Station to the summit of the Aoyama Plateau, running parallel to National Route 165. From the back of the station, a trail guides you toward the Aoyama Plateau, so there’s no need to walk along the reasonably busy road.Along the way, you’ll pass a horse riding area called the Joba Club. Continue walking on the sidewalks after this point until you reach an overpass. Cross it and head to the left side of the road to find the entrance to the forest. This entrance is marked in the map. The trail begins as a forest road, leading past some abandoned buildings from the "Bubble period," campsites, and eventually, a long flight of stairs.While there is a sign at Sunny Villa indicating private property, it appears to be an outdated sign from the past that hasn’t been removed. YAMAP marks this route as Tokaido nature trail, and it is fine to pass through these areas. (The villas were unfortunate projects from Japan’s economic bubble era that never reached completion.)
