There’s a whole bunch of signage in the lobby but the vending machine isn’t hard to miss. The machine accepts credit cards. I’m not really a connoisseur of hot sauce but I got the Carolina Reaper and one drop packs a punch and is extremely flavorful unlike anything I’ve tasted.
My brother and I picked up 3 bottles, easy to purchase with credit card.
Ich habe mir im November 2025 die Umami Ocean Hot Sauce geholt und war geschmacklich sofort begeistert. Die Sauce hat eine tolle Umami-Tiefe, ist sehr ausgewogen und ergänzt viele Gerichte perfekt, ohne den Eigengeschmack zu überdecken. Weil sie mir so gut geschmeckt hat, habe ich mir jetzt auch das Set mit der Original und der Umami Ocean geholt.Besonders gefällt mir, dass hier der Fokus klar auf Geschmack liegt und nicht nur auf Schärfe. Die Umami Ocean ist intensiv, aber sehr harmonisch. Jetzt bin ich gespannt, wie die Original schmeckt und wie scharf sie ist. Solange es diese Hot Sauce gibt, werde ich sie mir bei jedem Japan-Urlaub wieder holen.Praktischer Tipp: Am besten bar (Cash) bezahlen, das hat problemlos funktioniert – mit Visa-Kreditkarte hat es bei mir leider nicht geklappt. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die leckere und geschmacklich ausgefeilte Hot Sauces mögen. 🌶️🔥
Easy to find and easy to use vending machine. The t shirts were sold out when we were there, but all hot sauce options were available. Recommend getting both options as they are quite different - one is more aimed at flavour over heat with the other using the Carolina Reaper chillies for a much bigger spice hit.
TLDR: YouTuber who partners with awesome people including this hot sauce maker who came up with a fusion blend that’s spicy!Paolo partnered with this special hot sauce maker who makes hot sauce the old fashioned way. Through their collaboration, he added ghost pepper and other tweaks to their traditional hot sauce to get a more western style and it kicks so hard!! Definitely get some if you’re in the area!! Congrats Paolo!
Paolo fromTOKYO’s hot sauce vending machine is easy to spot, right next to the Mandarake entrance. I grabbed the Kaminari Original Hot Sauce for ¥2,000, and oh boy, it’s spicy alright… but the kind of spicy that makes you question your life choices in the best way possible 😂. Definitely packs a punch and worth trying if you like heat!
Awesome hot sauce! Picked up the hot and mild combo from Paolo's vending machine in Shibuya. Also has merch for sale too! Very easy to find, great pricing, and perfect omiage to take home to the US. Thanks Paolo for making your hotsauces available to us 24/7.

I’ve been watching Paolo on YouTube for a long time, so when I finally came to Japan from Germany I couldn’t miss this 😄 I’ve ordered online before, but buying it here in person is something else. Such a cool and unique experience. Definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan.
