姫沙羅の木の特徴
天城隧道を経て八丁池までの自然に囲まれた立地です。
昭和32年に亡くなった著名人の記念碑が歴史を語ります。
静岡県賀茂郡に位置し、美しい風景に癒されるスポットです。
天城隧道から、ここを通過し、八丁池まで歩きました。途中、わさび田がある辺り、「増水したら通れないのでは？」と思う箇所がありました。

昭和32(1957)年12月4日、愛新覚羅慧生さんと大久保武道さんは天城山で亡くなりました。正確な場所については、今も史料から断定することができませんが、この姫沙羅の木を訪れ、二人を偲ぶ人がいます。あれから70年近くを経て、私は月を研究する一人として、遠くから静かに二人を偲んでいます。あの冬、二人が見上げた月と、いま私が研究している月は、同じ月です。いつかこの場所を訪れ、手を合わせたいと思っています。二人が最期の日だけで語られることなく、生き、愛し、悩み、未来を願った若者として、これからも記憶されますように。二人の身を案じ、別の結末を願った人々のことも、私は忘れません。慧生さん、武道さん。どうか、安らかに。On 4 December 1957, Eisei Aishinkakura and Takemichi Ōkubo died in the Amagi Mountains. The exact location cannot be determined with certainty from the surviving records, but some people visit this himeshara tree in their memory.Nearly seventy years later, as someone who studies the Moon, I hold them in quiet remembrance from afar. The Moon they looked up at that winter is the same Moon I study today. I hope that one day I can visit this place and offer my respects in person.May they be remembered not only for their final day, but as young people who lived, loved, struggled, and hoped for a future.
