Our daughter Rosa spent three wonderful years at J’s International School, starting in the “Busy Bees” class and “graduating” from the “Clever Cats.” When we moved to Tokyo, she didn’t speak English and we hardly knew anyone. J’s truly proved to be the perfect landing spot for us: it’s a small, family-run school with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel at home almost instantly.I was especially impressed by how they managed to create a strong sense of community, which made it easy for us to connect with other families. Although we have since left Tokyo, some of these friendships have lasted, and we always look back on Rosa’s time at J’s with a warm sense of nostalgia.
I attended J’s International School when I was younger, and it was such a great experience. The teachers were kind, patient, and created a supportive environment for students from different backgrounds. It felt very welcoming and helped me become comfortable communicating in English at an early age.The activities were always fun and engaging, and they balanced learning with play really well. It made going to school something I genuinely looked forward to every day. ここで息子がお世話になりました。今でもサマースクールなどでも利用しています。アットホームで先生たちが優しく、安心して子どもを預けることができました。また、季節行事を楽しむ学校なので、親としても子どもと一緒に季節を感じることができました。息子が初めて英語で jump! やthis!って言った日を今でも覚えています。卒業後の他のインターへの進路についても経験豊富な先生とスタッフがいるので相談もできて心強かったです。
J’s International School was a wonderful place for our children.The atmosphere was very warm and home-like, and both the teachers and the principal always listened to us with great care. They were supportive even with small concerns, so we could entrust our children to them with peace of mind.Our two-year-old son used to cry at drop-off, but the teachers always welcomed him warmly, and by pick-up time he would say, “It was fun!” every day. The crafts and artwork he made were of amazing quality and have become precious keepsakes for us.Having J’s as their very first international school was truly a wonderful experience — not only for our children but also for us as parents.

息子は2歳半から6歳まで、娘は1歳半から現在5歳まで通っています。J’s International Schoolは小規模ながら、とても温かく居心地の良いアットホームな雰囲気の学校です。アートを中心にしたカリキュラムが充実していて、子どもたちが創造力豊かに成長していく様子が、持ち帰る作品からもよく伝わってきます。先生方のサポートもとても丁寧で、家庭が日本語環境でも、子どもたちはしっかり英語力を身につけ、自分の意見を表現できるようになりました。卒業した息子も、今でも妹のイベントに参加するといつも温かく迎えてもらえ、先生やお友達との絆が続いていることが嬉しいです。アフタースクールや季節のイベントも豊富で、いつも楽しく充実した毎日を過ごしています。本当に素敵な学校です！My son attended J’s International School from age 2½ to 6, and my daughter has been attending since she was 1½ (she’s now 5). The school is small but incredibly warm and welcoming — it truly feels like a second home for our children.The art-based program is wonderful, and we can really see our kids’ creativity grow through the beautiful artwork they bring home. The teachers are attentive and kind; even though we’re a Japanese-speaking family, both of our children have developed strong English skills and the confidence to speak up and share their ideas.Even after our son graduated, he’s always warmly welcomed back at his sister’s school events, which shows how caring and family-like the atmosphere is.With after-school activities and seasonal events like Halloween, Christmas performances, and storytelling days, the school offers such a fun and fulfilling experience all year round. J’s teachers care for children like family.They treat each child with respect and kindness, offer guidance when needed, and genuinely celebrate every child’s growth. At the same time, they are very supportive of parents, creating a close and welcoming community.Both of my children have attended J’s since they were 15 months old, spending their most important early developmental years here. Thanks to the loving and nurturing environment, they have grown into confident and independent children. We truly believe that when children learn to love and value themselves, they naturally grow to care for others as well.The school offers an excellent balance between emotional support and strong academic foundations. From the youngest classes, children are introduced to phonics, calendars, and numbers. This is one of the reasons why many graduates successfully move on to well-known international schools in Tokyo.Based on our experience, I truly believe J’s is one of the top early childhood education schools in this area. I highly recommend it to families looking for a nurturing, high-quality learning environment.

My 2.5 year old when for summer school, it was her first International summer school experience. The warmth, dedication and nurturing environment is where my child was comfortable, happy, curious and excited for all indoor and outdoor activities planned. Every teacher and staff are extremely supportive and welcoming, thank you for such a positive and enriching environment.We can’t wait to be back!
