My newly agreed fiance and I stayed at Neko Neko Nook a week into our 3 week Japan trip. The property provided a very welcome and needed base to allow us to relax, catch up with washing and prepare for the next leg of our trip over to Osaka/Kyoto.The property is in a fantastic area not far from the bustle of Shibuya but set back in a quieter residential neighbourhood a short walk from anything that you may need (including a fantastic cafe!).The house is fantastically equipped and decorated with many cat-themed and ghibli related references throughout. All facilities are of a fantastic quality and brand new - the washing machines were of fantastic use a week into the trip. The massage chair is a fantastic addition as well - one that I can testify is so good that I fell asleep in it and had to be urged to bed.The house can comfortably host a couple such us ourselves all the way up to a family with little problem.Ushka as well was an absolutely fantastic host offering us early and late checkout where it was available and really allowing us to properly reset and prepare for the rest of our trip. Also always super fast to respond and assist where she can.We will be back to Japan again in the coming year and absolutely will be staying at Neko Neko Nook - by and far the best "airbnb" properties I have ever stayed at.
This was an amazing find! It’s a well-appointed home in a cute, little neighborhood just a cute, little walk away from cute little shops, restaurants, transportation. It’s a few minutes away from lovely Yoyogi Park and a first-class cafe. It’s a newly renovated property with all the mod-cons, and the details, large and small, are wonderful: the Ghibli-themed decor, the laundry facilities, the massage chair! The property backs up to a train line, which seems like it would be a downside but was surprisingly quiet, even calming. The owner, Ushka, is so sweet and was very attentive to questions or needs we had. A unique, local-feeling experience for couples, a small group of friends or a family!
This is one of the best AirBNBs I’ve ever stayed in. In 2024, I stayed in another Neko Neko Stays property, and the experience was so good that as soon as I started planning my next trip to Tokyo I reached out to Ushka (the owner) again, and was offered the opportunity to stay in their newest property. Neko Neko Nook is beautifully appointed and cozy, and Ushka is always quick to respond to questions that crop up about the property or about Tokyo. The building does back up to a train line, but don’t let that put you off; I have never slept better in my life. I didn’t have a single night of sleeplessness from jet lag and even my Apple Watch agrees—I had a sleep score over 95 every night that I was there. I can’t wait to go back. With the bright, spacious kitchen, well-sized bedrooms and unending stacks of books, Neko Neko Nook is a true home away from home, and I can’t wait to go back.

Nous avons séjourné à six dans cette magnifique maison et nous avons été enchantés par l’espace et le confort qu’elle réservait. Ushka a toujours été attentive à nos besoins et très réactive. La maison est idéalement située dans un quartier calme et non loin des transports (bus et métros) et menant rapidement aux quartiers centraux de Tokyo.Le petit plus, que les enfants ont vraiment apprécié, c’est le fauteuil de massage !Très belle expérience dans notre périple japonais.
