War heute bei Niche Drive in Japan und hatte echt eine super Erfahrung. Die Autos sind top gepflegt, die Atmosphäre war entspannt und man merkt sofort, dass dort Leute arbeiten, die wirklich Leidenschaft für Autos haben. Alles lief unkompliziert ab und man hat sich willkommen gefühlt, nicht wie bei irgendeinem anonymen Touristenangebot. Würde ich jedem empfehlen, der in Japan etwas Besonderes erleben möchte.
Just got back to the hotel from this crazy experience and I just couldn't wait to write a review.We had the R35 GTR Rocket Bunny Daikoku tour with Jack. He was an amazing class-act tour guide - I highly recommend asking for him!Anyways, amazing car and guide, I had so much fun - this is an experience any car guy or gal shoudln't miss out on!Cheers!
Our tour guides, Jack and Bizhan, were fantastic—friendly, engaging, and very knowledgeable. We joined a shared group of seven people, split between car enthusiasts and those (like me) who were mostly there for moral support. Even so, the guides did a great job balancing the experience, sharing insights not just about car culture but also about Tokyo’s infrastructure and road systems, which made it interesting for everyone.The tour was well organized from start to finish. We received clear instructions ahead of time, with a 3:30 PM meetup in the Harajuku area. From there, we visited the Super AUTOBACS store before heading to the famous Daikoku Parking Area for the car meet.We arrived around 5:15 PM, and things were already in full swing—parking was scarce, and the energy was high. We stayed until about 7 PM, by which point it was extremely crowded and police had begun managing overflow parking, including in the truckers’ lot.Overall, I’d definitely recommend this tour. It was smooth, well-coordinated, and led by a genuinely welcoming and informed team.
Wat een geweldige ervaring met Niche Drive in Tokyo!Gisteren zijn we vanuit ons hotel opgehaald in een indrukwekkende Nissan GTR Wide Body, waarna Alex ons meenam naar een car meet. Alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld. In de voorbereiding heeft Ken ons fantastisch geholpen — hij dacht echt met ons mee en was enorm flexibel, wat voor ons extra belangrijk was omdat onze zoon in een rolstoel zit. Dat maakte deze ervaring niet vanzelfsprekend, maar dankzij Ken verliep alles soepel.Tijdens de middag en avond heeft Alex ons geweldig begeleid. Hij was niet alleen professioneel, maar ook ontzettend gezellig en betrokken. Hij wist precies hoe hij er een bijzondere en leuke ervaring van moest maken.Het was een onvergetelijke avond voor zowel Ralph als mij. Absoluut een aanrader voor iedereen die iets unieks wil beleven in Tokyo!
Couldn't have asked for a better experience, would without a doubt recommend to any car lover or even someone that wants to experience a beautiful drive over the highways. The tour guide Jack had so much knowledge the wasn't a question he couldn't answer and he also made the trip so much more enjoyable with the story's and information he spoke about. Definitely give it a go if your going to tokyo and try not get to overwhelmed by the awesome cars you will see everywhere around you. Booked Niche Drive as part of my son’s high school graduation trip to Tokyo from Montana. The R34 GT-R V-Spec II was unreal, but Ken, the owner, is what made the night.I’m sure any of his drivers would have provided a great experience, but we were fortunate enough to spend the evening with Ken himself. He drove us personally, knew every detail about the car, the Tokyo scene, and the history of JDM culture, and patiently answered every question my son threw at him. Ethan threw a lot.The route was incredible. Super Autobacs, the Wangan, Yokohama, Daikoku PA, and Rainbow Bridge. Every stop felt intentional and never rushed.What stood out most, though, was Ken’s genuine enthusiasm. This wasn’t someone simply running a tour. It felt like spending an evening with a friend who was excited to share something he truly loves.By the end of the night, Ethan and I both felt like we were saying goodbye to an old friend, not a tour guide.There are a lot of companies offering similar experiences. After spending an evening with Niche Drive, I have no doubt we made the right choice.If you have a car kid in your life, or if you have a genuine appreciation for these cars yourself, book it.
