Wonderful experience at the Kozangumi music school!We had the opportunity to try both the koto and the shakuhachi flute, and the lesson was professional, engaging, and enjoyable at the same time. We learned a few Japanese songs and shared a truly special moment; an hour and a half flew by!We honestly could have stayed there all day. Many thanks to Kozan and the koto teacher for their patience, kindness, and warm hospitality.We highly recommend this experience to anyone who would like to discover and try these beautiful traditional Japanese instruments!
В удобный день и время я пришла на музыкальный мастер-класс, и мне очень понравилось!У меня ранее был интерес к кото, но поиграть на нём удалось впервые. Также, была возможность поиграть на сякухати.Преподаватели очень отзывчивые люди, понятно всё объясняли (я знаю японский, поэтому мы общались на японском языке).
I loved my musical experience! Both teachers were patient, kind and professional. I loved being able to play alongside them as well as hear them perform beautifully. I would highly recommend this unique experience playing Japanese instruments.
We had a really lovely evening exploring these wonderful Japanese instruments with Kozan and Kaori. I could have spent all evening just listening to them play so beautifully. The musicianship and love for their instruments shines through in their performance and teaching.
Great first experience trying the Koto and Shakuhachi! The lesson was well structured and fun. The teachers were very calm, patient and gave good instructions on how to learn. They also played some western songs for us which we could sing along too. Definitely give this a try if you're interested in Koto and Shakuhachi!
Mr Kozan and Mrs Kaori were amazing! I really enjoyed playing Shakuhachi with them.They showed us how to play, then played together with us. In the end, they both played a song for us, showing their excellent musicianship. True artists of these amazing instruments.I left the session wanting to play again.That's a must have experience for anyone that loves Koto and/or Shakuhachi.Wagakki Band first presented me Koto and Shakuhachi and now I love them.
This was a magical experience! I came a long with a friend and we have an amazing afternoon learning the Koto & Shakuhachi with two amazing teachers. The excitement to use and try these instruments were really so fun. I was able to play a full song on the Koto. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is interested to just try these instruments out. You will feel as we did, just transported back in time to have an enchanting moment.

It was an honor to take part in a lesson at the Kozangumi music school with Master Kozan and his colleague. From the very beginning, they made us feel comfortable, even while using such unique and special instruments. The hour and a half flew by, and we wished we could have spent even more time with them.The school is located in a beautiful area, right next to the staircase featured in *Your Name*.We learned to play traditional songs and also had the pleasure of listening to the masters perform modern pieces.An unforgettable experience, absolutely worth the price and highly recommended.Arigato gozaimas Sensei 🙏🏼
