This is without a doubt one of the best coffees in Tokyo, possibly the universe!What's more, the clientele are fascinating - don't be surprised if you find yourself talking to a famous actress, scientist, athlete or musician.While you're there, you can also buy homemade matcha cheesecake from a man who worked at a 3 Michelin star restaurant.This will be the best 500 yen you will ever spend.
Quite a serendipitous discovery! The café is really nice, and the owner has a PhD in Engineering (!!!), which made for an interesting conversation topic—especially on how fluid dynamics relates to the science (and the art) of making a good coffee. There are also two other small shops in the same venue offering tea, sweets, and savoury food options. The place is family-friendly as well, with toys and regular book-reading events for children.
Absolutely delicous coffee. There are many styles available: drip coffee, iced, hot espresso. The espresso in particular was excellent. Italian style with rich, perfectly extracted flavour.
Delicious coffee. The owner takes big care of all the process of preparing, worth the wait. One café latte costed 500¥.
