Greg is a wonderful photographer. He made us very comfortable on our first photo shoot. It was very easy to communicate and plan my proposal with him. Amazing photos and was able to capture the beautiful moment!
We did our engagement shoot with Greg Owain Photography while we were in Tokyo back in August, and honestly, Greg was awesome to work with. Super easygoing, professional, and just a great guy to hang out with for the afternoon.He knew all the best spots, made the whole session feel relaxed and fun, and somehow managed to capture photos that felt very us; natural, not forced. His turnaround time was also ridiculously quick; we had our edited photos back before we were even fully settled from the photoshoot.If you’re visiting Tokyo (or live there) and want someone who knows how to bring out genuine moments, Greg’s your guy. Couldn’t recommend him more - thanks again Gregory! The photos turned out unreal!
I had such a good time during the shoot! Gregory was super easy to talk to and kept things smooth and natural the whole time. He suggested simple ideas and picked out great spots, which turned into really amazing final photos. I didn’t expect to look that good! I had a photoshoot with Greg around the Hibiya Park area. It was such a wonderful experience.He instantly made me feel at ease in front of the camera with his approachable and friendly demeanor. His positive energy was infectious, and it truly made the shoot not only effortless but also fun.He had a variety of ideas and was quick to explore different angles and locations. Me ayudó a escoger el lugar perfecto para proponerle matrimonio a mi novia en Tokio, algo que, si alguna vez has planeado, sabes que puede ser bastante abrumador. Nos recomendó un templo hermoso e importante, pero alejado de las multitudes turísticas, así que prácticamente tuvimos todo el lugar para nosotros. Además, nos llevó a otros sitios espectaculares que hicieron la experiencia aún más especial. He helped me choose the perfect spot to propose to my girlfriend in Tokyo, something that, if you have ever planned it, you know can be pretty overwhelming. He recommended a beautiful and important temple, but one that was away from the tourist crowds, so we practically had the entire place to ourselves. He also took us to other incredible spots that made the experience even more special. The proposal was an absolute 10000/10 — my girlfriend was thrilled and has not stopped showing off the amazing photos Greg took to her friends.Thank you so much, Greg!
We had the pleasure of working with Gregory Owain Photography at several British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ) events, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Greg consistently delivered high-quality images with a quick turnaround, bringing great energy and professionalism to each assignment. Most recently, he covered our event “Drug Lag and Loss: Japan’s Prescription for Progress” at the AstraZeneca office in Tokyo, and we were absolutely delighted with the outcome.
I went with Greg on a photo shoot around Asakusa. He has a great eye for finding the right spot! I never done a photo shoot before but I really enjoyed it more than I expected. Greg is so easy going can have a joke and a laugh all while positioning the shot! Really recommend him to all!

We had a lovely time doing a photoshoot with Greg! He made us feel comfortable the whole time and it made the shoot feel pretty natural. Really appreciate that he focused more on candid shots rather than posed. The turnaround time was also impressively quick, highly recommend!
