長良山の特徴
長良山からの眺望は素晴らしく、長良川の花火観賞に最適です。
トイレはありませんが、自然を楽しむハイキングにぴったりのスポットです。

I recently visited this location, and in part due to the review written by Yasu_hiker!Something important to note is that I'm not an experienced hiker, although I came very prepared. In general, there wasn't much information about the trail leading to the scenic viewpoint. I approached the location via the western path starting at 不動池Fudoike. At roughly 160m elevation, the path branches south and becomes quite difficult to see as it's not well-worn. Using the Yamap app helped guide me. Previous hikers also tied red ribbons to tree branches to mark the path. At times, the incline was dangerously steep, so it's important to wear appropriate footwear for the environment. The climb took about 40-60 minutes, and it may be faster if you're physically fit. I spent time at the location after sundown, so it was also quite dangerous descending in the dark. It's important to bring a flashlight or headlamp separate from your smartphone if you take the trail at night - you need your smartphone battery to take photos and navigate home of course! And it's less trouble if you drop your flashlight than a fragile smartphone! Perhaps the most important piece of advice is to bring a friend with you so you can help each other out of getting in trouble. And bring water.Overall, this trail is not for beginners. Please come prepared.
