We absolutely loved our stay here! Mr. Yasumichi is an amazing host — warm, welcoming and great communication. The room was clean and cozy, and the location couldn’t be better. It’s just 8 minutes to Mejiro Station and about 15 minutes on foot to Ikebukuro, so you’re close to the big city energy but still get to come “home” to a peaceful, quiet neighborhood.The best part? After a busy day in Tokyo, the walk back felt like stepping into a calmer world. Morning walks were especially charming — watching school kids confidently walking to school on their own made us feel like we were part of the local scene. It’s a side of Tokyo you don’t get in the tourist-heavy areas.Clean room, fantastic host, perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. We’d definitely stay again!
We had a wonderful stay in Tokyo and couldn’t have asked for a better host. Yasumichi kindly picked us up at the train station, which made our arrival so smooth and stress-free. Throughout our stay, he was incredibly helpful and shared great local recommendations that really enhanced our experience.The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and exactly as described. We truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. We highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Tokyo – you’ll be in great hands!
The host is very kind and the location is amazing, however the building is an old one. On the positive side, the room itself was kept clean. One small problem I had were the polyester towels which don't do a great job at absorbing water after a shower, so it would be nice to switch to cotton ones.Being an old building means that it can get very cold during winter and the occasional cockroach can make it's presence known. Luckily we were provided with cockroach spray 😃
Definatelly recommend, the host guided us from the station to the hotel, and was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. 5 mins to Mejiro station and in walking distance to Ikebukuro. Area is very quiet, charming and peaceful, a good break from the loudness of the busy, more crowded Tokio areas.
The host was very kind and friendly, picked us up from the train station and walked us to the hotel. The hotel itself is located in Mejiro, a quiet residential area of Tokyo, so it feels more like living in a local neighborhood than staying in a hotel. Mejiro Station is close by and it's possible to walk to Ikebukuro in about 10 minutes for shops and restaurants. Both Mejiro Station and Ikebukuro Station provide convenient access to the rest of Tokyo so transportation was never an issue.
Los pequeños detalles son los que hacen que una experiencia se convierta en un recuerdo único. El que Yasu venga a buscarte a la estación para acompañarte al apartamento, su simpatía, sus detalles en la habitación de bienvenida, sus recomendaciones, su disponibilidad, es una maravilla! La habitación tiene unas dimensiones propias de lo que se suele encontrar en Japón. Cómoda y funcional. Justamente lo que necesitas para tu estancia. La ubicación es ideal. Cerca de tres estaciones muy bien conectadas, en un barrio tranquilo donde encontrar restaurantes muy interesantes así como konbinis. Totalmente recomendable. Si vuelvo a Tokio sin dudar escogeré de nuevo este apartamento.
We loved our stay here! The flat is perfectly located between Mejiro and Ikebukuro, giving us plenty of metro options and easy access to the whole city. The neighbourhood is charming and full of great spots and our host’s recommendations were spot on. On our first night, the host kindly met us at the metro station and walked us to the flat, which made us feel right at home. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable 5-day stay, even umbrellas for rainy days. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.

Recomiendo mucho este alojamiento. El anfitrión fue muy detallista des del principio. Nos recomendó muchos sitios. La habitación era espaciosa y la ventana daba a un jardincito central. Está bastante bien comunicado. Si volviera, seguramente sería en el mismo apartamento.
