very helpful after strolling Kiso road looking for some dinner in winter. the atmosphere was cosy and lovely. good place to have calm dinner at Agematsu in Nakasendo.
Arrived late in Agematsu so not many restaurants were open, found this gem of a restaurant serving a simple menu of japanese style pastas and pizzas such as mentaiko, tarako, and naporitan at good prices. We ate as a group of eight and they prepared each dish one by one so it took about 45 minutes for our orders to arrive but it was well worth the wait. The appetisers and desserts were delicious as well. Staff was very friendly, would highly recommend stopping by if you have the chance
Really nice authentic food with a little Japanese twist.Considering it’s in the middle of nowhere it was a reassuring taste of Italy.Very friendly. Would recommend.

Was craving pizza so we went to this mom and pop shop on a Sunday night. Not many restaurants were open nearby. The area was very quiet and the restaurant was a cute little place with an english menu. We ordered 2 pizzas to go: the margarita and garlic and tomato. The garlic tomato pizza was really good, highly recommend!
