A nice cosy sukiyaki restaurant serving premium wagyu beef. The owner and staff are very friendly. A perfect dinner after skiing! Highly recommend!

Really a hidden gem in Tsugaike.Fresh Wagyu slices cooked in sukiyaki just after a full day snowboarding session hits the spot. And yes! pair it with some sake or beer off the tap 😚

周辺のオススメ
OKUTO is relatively new. The staff is young, and a few inexperienced-related issues popped up. But before that, call beforehand to make a reservation. The place is neat and classy in a casual way. The food is decent, and the wagyu sukiyaki is excellent. The issues not unique to tonight is that the staff seemed inexperienced, it's not a big portion (you'll have to pay for additional add-ins), and it feels like a premium tourist price for the same food you could get elsewhere for cheaper and arguably better quality and quantity. The issues unique to tonight were that there were problems with both the beer tap and the credit card machine. I'm sure if they figure out the new restaurant kinks, all will be well. I'm hopeful for them.
