Such a great hotel. Spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Hotel staff were so helpful, with the accommodation booking, but also during the stay, they helped us with dinner reservations for our large group of 8 every night.

Outstanding Hospitality. Made our trip perfect. So convenient to start our ski days with a decent breakfast. So lovely and comfortable to return to after a day on the slopes. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Centrally located. Tea/Coffee available in Lobby 24/7 with Log Fire. Free Washer & Dryer available with Detergent provided - so convenient! Large Dry Room. And so many more extra little things but too many to mention. They think of everything.I would give 10 stars if I could!

The best hotel we stayed in during our trip to Japan for December 2024! The rooms despite being simple were spacious and clean. They serve a simple breakfast each morning but it was fulfilling to last till lunch for a good start of the day!They also have a washing machine and dryer which proved terribly handy for families with big loads of laundry! The atmosphere at Elizabeth was warm with the lobby having a very nice stove that adds to its coziness!The biggest plus point I must mention is how attentive the staffs of Elizabeth were (Especially Jo and Patricia) My wife left her pendant which she forgot to pack on the day of our departure. I emailed the hotel regarding the pendant having felt it would be a slim chance it would be found. A few days later, they found the pendant on the balcony and offered to mail it back to our home country! We are grateful and thankful that such attention was paid to this matter.

Nice hotel with super friendly staff. Overall very clean and quiet. Location is great too. Short walk to gondola. At gondola station you can lock your skis overnight. The ski room at hotel is also awesome so you have a free option as well. Breakfast was also good.

とてもきれいで部屋は寝具はベッドで、ホテル風の造りです。部屋にお風呂とトイレがあります。オーナーが外国人なので全体的に和洋折衷の雰囲気。ロビーもきれいでフリードリンクあり。スタッフはほとんど外国人ですが、日本語も英語も問題なく、外国人のお客様も多いです。

Our family of 4 srayed at Elizabeth for 6 nights and we were all very impressed. We opted for the traditional tatami room with adjoining living area and it was sensational. Lots of storage cupboards, very very spacious, gorgeous bathroom/toilet/shower rooms. We were greeted with friendly faces who were most welcoming. Staff at Elizabeth paid for our taxi from information centre to accomodation and dragged all our big heavy bags up 2 flights of stairs. Very knowledgable staff who directed us to some really delicious japanese restaurants. Just a short easy stroll to main street and a short but uphill stroll to the Nagasaka gondola. Brilliant location and a personal thank you to all the staff at Elizabeth who made our stay very memorable

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth. The hotel is more like a home away from home with a cozy family room, great breakfast and an afternoon tea. The place is very clean. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, plus they speak English. The staff even helped us make restaurant reservations. The owner is on site daily, ensuring high quality service. We look forward to coming to Nozawa again and staying at Elizabeth.
