The Yokosuka Post Office located within the U.S. Fleet Activities has some of the best cherry blossoms (Sakura).I went with a family member to get a package sent out. Service was fast and efficient.Again, I was mainly fascinated at the beautiful cherry blossoms just outside of the post office. Pink and white flowers against the blue skies and white clouds. Absolutely perfect!
I’ve been here several times to mail packages and pick them up. The staff has always been kind and very helpful when I had questions.
I have been here almost a year and I feel they are helpful and looking for ways to improve. No system is perfect but the staff are usually honest when they don't know something and try to resolve issues.

Apparently some changes have been made and things seems to be running a lot smoother here. Wait times have dropped from 1+ hours to a few minutes. Glad they seem to have listed to customer feedback and made necessary adjustments.

行列はイライラするほど長いですが、郵便局員は、行列の最前線に到達すると、いつでもフレンドリーで親切です。物を米国に返送する価格が低いことを考えると、高い需要は理解できます。（原文）While the lines are frustratingly long, the postal workers are always friendly and helpful once you've reached the front of the line. Given the low price of shipping stuff back to the US, the high demand is understandable.
