Kimono Marukyo is a kimono store, over 70 years old, still run by the family who started it.The husband and wife owners are wonderful and kind. They helped us with sizing, explaining materials and dyeing of the items we were interested in.The prices are fair and quality is very high. There are items to suit every budget, from cotton yukata to embroidered silk Obi from Kyoto.I wish we had more time to chat to the likely couple they were very very kind and warm. Thank you so much for being so patient to us tourists and for our discussion about onsen and sento.We hope to see you again next year!
