Ebisu Beach is the kind of beach that perfectly reflects the quieter side of Hokkaido—clean, uncrowded, and peacefully scenic. Unlike the more commercialized beaches in other parts of Japan, this spot feels more local and relaxed, making it ideal for those who simply want to enjoy the sea without the crowds.We visited while exploring Esashi as part of our Hokkaido 179 travel goal, and it served as a pleasant stop to take in the coastal atmosphere. The shoreline is well-maintained, and the water is relatively clear, especially on a sunny day when the sea takes on a calming blue tone.The beach is family-friendly, with gentle waves that make it suitable for swimming during the designated season. There’s a sense of openness here—the wide horizon, the sound of the waves, and the fresh sea breeze all come together to create a very relaxing environment.While it may not have extensive facilities or attractions, that simplicity is part of its charm. It’s a place where you can slow down, sit by the shore, and just enjoy the moment.
開陽丸記念館・えさし海の駅開陽丸に隣接する海水浴場砂浜が広くて綺麗なので、とても良い所だと思います広い駐車場・公衆トイレもあるので便利そうですね。
眺めは最高です😊鴎島は今の旦那とのって思い出の場所です。
海水浴場の階段もうちょいキレイにしたらいいのに・・・。近くにコンビニもあっていいですよ☺

周辺のオススメ
バイクで立寄りました。割と暖かい土曜日でしたが海水浴は誰も居ませんでした。駐車場がわの浅瀬はシュノーケリングや家族連れでカニや小魚採取の方がいて楽しんでいました。今度ゆっくり来ます。
