時間的に16時前だった事もあるのか？飲み物以外は無いとの事で、遅いお昼を断念‥ 営業時間内だからと常に食材を準備して置くと言うにはちょっと手狭かな？気楽にお茶するのなら、或いは良いのかもですね。
Upon exiting the Cave area and walking to the main road to await the bus back to Takasaki Station we noticed a small cafe with outdoor seating some 30 meters up a side road opposite the bus stop. We ventured there and to our surprise found a cozy cafe with indoor seating which served French n Japanese cuisine. The indoor dining area was tastefully n beautifully decorated with tablecloth dining n fine tableware. It was teatime so we decided on sitting outdoors for some refreshments. The lady owner Teruko San was very gracious and so welcoming and apart from our Coffee/Tea with cookies/chocolates (complimentary) we enjoyed a warm conversation with her, exchanged souvenirs and in that short period of time we became friends- it was truly a meeting of chance and a wonderful experience of Japanese hospitality in rural Gunma! 👍
