Keyaki Street (Keyaki-dori), famous as a beautiful street in Fukuoka, is a street lined with about 100 zelkova trees (keyaki) along an 800m stretch of National Route 202 that runs through the center of Fukuoka.Along the street, there are high-rise apartments and unique restaurants, cafes, bookstores, and various shops, and if you go inside the street, you can see a quiet Japanese residential area and traditional Japanese houses.In 1994, it was selected as one of the “100 New Japanese Street Trees” by the Yomiuri Shimbun.
