Beautiful shop full of curated clothes, homewares and local produce. This shop was an unexpected highlight of our visit to Kiso Fukushima. We bought beautiful ceramic cups, Japanese wool socks, drip coffee sachets, artisan chocolate and Kiso hinoki fragrance. The staff we so lovely. Highly recommend a visit to en-shouten!
I love en-shouten so much. We went for coffee and got so much more. The coffee and tea is delicious. Try the black sesame Hojicha (toasted green tea). They have beautiful pottery by well-known local potters, gorgeous hand carved wood products, and all kinds of lovely eco-friendly textiles and gifts. We bought pottery and because we were walking the Nakasendo trail with tiny backpacks, they kindly couriered our purchases to our hotel in Tokyo. The couple who run the shop have excellent taste and are very kind. We were only in town one night and I went to their shop 4 times and slurped down 3 cups of Hojicha. This shop was a highlight of our trip to Japan.
What an unexpected gem in this little village! The coffee is excellent, but what really caught my attention were the beautifully crafted items for sale—especially the handmade tea and coffee cups. I couldn’t resist and ended up getting two! They’re not cheap, so keep that in mind, but the quality and charm of this shop make it well worth a visit. A really cute and special place!
素材にこだわりのある雑貨をセレクトされてます。衣類では、肌に身につけるインナー、腹巻き、レギンスの他に、ニット、ブランケット、タオル(S～L)などもあります。ウールやコットン、シルクなど、天然素材の商品が多いです。メーカー【NISHIGUCHI KUTSUSHITA】さんの赤い靴下が暖かく、履き心地も氣に入って、今回知人にプレゼントで選びました。素敵にラッピングしてくださり、大満足です。信州木曽福島の魅力的なお店の一つで在り続けてほしいです。
店内の一角にあったコーヒースタンド「SANKAKU Brew Stand」に立ち寄りました。スタッフさんによると2024年4月27日にオープンし、DIY（スタッフさんはセルフビルドと仰せでした）で造られたお店だそうです。恐らく自家焙煎と思われるスペシャリティコーヒーを取り扱っていて、ブレンドとシングルオリジンから選択が可能です。コーヒー以外だと各種ラテ（甘酒や抹茶、ほうじ茶、チャイなどもあり）やクラフトビール（缶）、ジュースも楽しめます。ブレンドコーヒーとシングルオリジンのタンザニアをいただきました。ブレンドコーヒーの深い味わいと、タンザニアのスッキリした酸味、どちらも丁寧に淹れていただいたクオリティのお味。コーヒーと共に店内奥の窓から木曽川のせせらぎを鑑賞すれば、癒やされること請け合いです。素晴らしいお店なので、もっと宣伝していただいてコーヒーが好きな旅行者の憩いの場になってくれたら、と純粋に思うばかりです。また木曽を訪れた時には立ち寄らせていただきます。

セレクトが一貫性があり、実用的にもビジュアル的にも満足なものがある。友人にも勧めています。
